From a very early age, I envisioned myself helping mankind. As I observed the world around me, I realized that most people are deeply committed to the well-being of themselves and their families—which is natural and necessary—but very few extend that same drive toward strangers who are right in front of them, silently struggling and in clear need of support.
I also became increasingly aware of the privileges I was born with. Coming from a middle-class family, being mentally and physically able, and having access to education placed me among the top 1–2% of Pakistan. With these blessings came a responsibility. How could I not dedicate my life to helping others
Today, Zaria Foundation is still small compared to the magnitude of our vision—and the sheer scale of poverty in Pakistan. But what we lack in size, we make up for in sincerity, commitment, and impact. We are transforming lives, one family at a time—and that is how real change begins.
